ABSTRACT.

A large system of stepped accumulation glacis is developed at the left margin of low Segre river, showing strongly cemented and unequally developed caliches beds at the top. the calcareous crusts apperar under separate dacies. They usually display a discontinuous tabular geometry, as well as some other structures, such as pseudantyclines, mudcracks, roots fisuration, speleothems, coids, etc. The development of these caliches is connected with the final stages of elaboration of glaciplanation surfaces, being generated, basically, from discountinuous water beds, with numerous subsequent processes od restructuration.
